Gladstone Indian Cultural Community welcomed the start of spring with their annual Holi Festival celebrations at Spinnaker Park on Saturday.
Diwali, also known as Deepawali, is the five-day Indian festival of lights celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists around the world.
Last Saturday the bond of love and duty between brother and sister was renewed as the Gladstone Indian Cultural Community celebrates “Raksha Bandhan”.
HOLI is observed with great fanfare by Hindus all over the world, and Gladstone is no exception.
