A young osprey(?) at Ballina North Wall Wednesday morning. It was catching small bait fish in shallow water. Any advice on identifying this bird would be appreciated.

Much criticized sculpture takes on whole new meaning with the refugees welcome sign from the Uniting Church. "Local Pride National Shame". With a little imagination one could see the uncovered ribs of the boat as bars in a detention center or maybe, because the boat could never float could it be seen as symbolic of the dreams of most of the 86,000,000 refugees in the world today.
