A DAY of family fun is set for this Sunday at Dungarubba Hall.

The Fun Day organiser, Mr Jesse Flanagan described the event as "a great opportunity for families to have some fun together, with lots of activities planned. We are really excited to be having this event, which has been organised to raise funds for our children's Christmas party."

"We have the Lion King jumping castle, donated from northern rivers jumping castles, face painting, arts and craft activities, table tennis games, and competitions such as sack races, tug-o-war, egg and spoon races, limbo, and guessing the number of jelly beans in the jar," he said.

"The Richmond Rumours cheerleading team will be there all day to entertain families with their fantastic and energetic talents, as well as giving lessons in cheerleading for all ages."

The support of the Family Fun Day by local businesses, donating many prizes for the raffles, has organisers pleased.

Jesse's clearly passionate about this event and his enthusiasm is contagious, saying "we are a small country hall and the support has been brilliant.

We have an $80 Hair Care Pack from Headroom Hair in Ballina, $50 voucher from Bunnings Ballina, lunch for two at the Ballina Cherry Street Bowls Club Chinese Restaurant, a $20 voucher from Kmart Lismore, a $25 voucher from Pirlo's Fruit Barn in Lismore, two bottles of wine from first choice Ballina, a Steeden football, a leather soccer ball, and a basketball from Big W Ballina and a Just Dance & Cheer Woodburn voucher for 2016 classes.      

An entry fee of $4 a child or $10 for a family includes all activities, adults free. Food and drinks will also be available.
