YOUR STORY: Cutting the locks for a good cause
THIS year I turn 70.
To mark this event I wanted to do something special to acknowledge the loss of our dear friend Sue Cobcroft and a number of others connected to our music. Also we have friends still fighting the battle.
I also have been given the gift of "good hair" so I thought if I shaved my hair I could add a few extra that way.
When my good friend heard my "few dollars" she insisted that my hair was worth far more and so we set a goal of $5000.
I will be shaving my hair November 2015 at a fundraising night and seeking the support of my friends and family along the way.
I aim to raise $5000.
