WHAT'S in a name?

Well for your four-wheeled prized possession it's very important apparently.

We asked Daily readers to share their nicknames for their cars, after the RACQ released the list of the top 10 most common car pet names this week.

Number one on their list from survey results was Kermit, closely followed by The Beast.

In a Daily online poll 76% of people said car nicknames were a bit of fun and gave a car personality.

Here's what you had to say in our online debate:

Sue Lawman: My car's name is Christine. Inspired by the Stephen King movie as she doesn't like anyone else driving her!

Keryn Maree: We have Jackie the Jackaroo and Heidi the Hilux.

Leonie Meyers:  My friends daughter named mine as I had no clue what to call it. Her name is Lilly. She's a white Getz. Fits perfectly! Had her almost five  years now

Kay Sawyer: Mine is called Gemma she is also a white Getz (two door) I have had her a year and love her.

Tonianne O'Brien: Ours is called"JAZZ" from Transformers, it looks like the Autobot from the movie.
