YOUR SAY: Are ghosts walking the streets too?
APPARENT sightings of another ghostly figure on a Queensland road has prompted Daily readers to share their own paranormal experiences.
A driver shared their ghostly experience on Gladstone Benaraby Rd this week.
The woman said a woman with dark hair, a white shirt and black bottoms was standing in the middle of the road at 11am while she drove from Tannum Sands.
"As I got closer she disappeared. I was trying to look for her and heard swishing noises against the back of my seat," she told the Gladstone Observer.
"As I looked in my rear vision mirror, I saw a figure in my back seat.
YOUR SAY: GHOSTS AND GHOULS? I DON'T THINK SO
"I swerved as it gave me a huge fright, and I apologise to any oncoming traffic, but I pulled over quickly to check and rang a girlfriend in panic as I was not sure what I had just witnessed.
"This scared me a lot and I'm still a bit shaky."
Here's your ghoulish ghost stories. Whether you believe in ghosts or not is another story.
Mark Stephen Phteven I have recently driven on this road and the number of crosses indicating deaths is scary! So I am not surprised of ghostly apparitions.
Mitchell Tronc: I have a similar story about seeing an apparition in my car on the corner the young mother crashed on near Mooloolah. Quite scary.
Ian MacCrimmon: I was driving in Alice Springs once. As I slowed for the traffic lights a foul apparition appeared in my back seat. After it asked for a smoke, it was gone in the blink of an eye.
Lisa Mcallister: Someone must have died on that road, and hasn't passed over yet.
Gaye Hudson: I love a good ghost story. Now having said that i also believe that there is something our finite minds find hard to comprehend, I do believe in "ghosts" in some form or another.
