Here are some of your photos and stories:
Kerry Kent: "Nox, my three legged man. Adopted from the RSPCA two years ago after being seized from abusive owners. He is such a little dude, and so loved!"
Kylie Carpenter: "Angel: 3 years old, rescued her from RSPCA 12 months ago, she was skin and bone when i got her, she was used as a breeding dog on a puppy farm. Very ironic, i went to the RSPCA looking for a boxer girl after having no luck advertising all over QLD for a year and i was just going in to ask them if they ever got a boxer girl could they take my name and number and to call me. Just so happened she arrived as i walked through the door. I saw her and broke down crying because her condition was so poor and i knew she was meant to be my baby. The ladies must have thought i was totally unstable as i sat on the concrete crying and cuddling her. Needless to say she is very well cared for and very spoiled, all of her health conditions have cleared up and she is very happy, she has made me so happy too. I love her, it feels like i have had her forever......... my baby."
Shaz Toomey: "My greyhound Rosie who was "wastage" from the racing industry. Saved from the vets just in time and now a brilliant pet and place 3rd in her class at Brisbane Royal show last year. Not bad for a rescue. My other rescue actually won the class!"
Lisa Hancock-Zellers: "All these dogs have been rescued and were meant to be for adoption as I am carer with Mapr Goondiwindi. Well, I fell in love with them and could not let any go. Since then I have also added Abbie (photo of her in my reply) and Porridge to my fur family. Abbie was left at the dump in the middle of our intense hot summer with 3 of her siblings at only a few weeks old. Unfortunately Abbie is the only survivor. The wonderful people at Border Vets did all they could to save the puppies to no avail. Abbie is my miracle along with all these other gorgeous furbies. I love every single one of them. All 10 of them are my life xx"
Alana Jaye: "This is our baby girl Zeni. We rescued her from Sippy Creek Animal Rescue. She was brought over from the pound and was never claimed. She had lots of scars on her back and a really big one on the back of her neck as if her collar was too tight. No one knows what happened to her, but we do know that she is the sweetest, cuddliest most beautiful dog. She is so affectionate and loving towards everyone and we are so lucky she picked us. We love our Zeni."
Crystal Skinner: "Tinkerbell was an abandoned kitten. (Yep she is ragdoll) she is mega spoilt and acts more like a dog than a cat. She is now 2 years old."
Christine Stewart: "This is our Puss aged 8 months old he was dumped in a 4 litre ice cream bucket at local council chambers he was part feral when we got him."
