Write on! Learning the tricks of the trade
WHETHER revisiting a personal memoir, exploring new creative writing opportunities or learning the secrets of screen writing, the Sunshine Coast Writers' Cafe will help you learn.
The cafe's founder Shelley Davidow and writing instructor Jo Kadlecek will host a series of interactive workshops over the coming months.
Shelley will host a creative writing master class in October, while Jo's start this month, teaching Memoir I, with Memoir II in November and Los Angeles-based screenwriter Christopher Reed will present a screen writing workshop on Saturday, October 29.
"The mission of the Sunshine Coast Writers' Cafe is to bring people together on the Sunshine Coast who love words, who love story," Shelley said.
"Our aim is to create a network of writers and readers who support each other and who want to see literary culture flourish in the area."
