The Caloundra Woodworking club celebrates its 20th anniversary
CALOUNDRA Woodworking Club celebrates its 20th anniversary on the weekend of October 17 and 18.
The club's workshop will be open both days from 9am-2pm and a vast array of fine woodworking will be on display.
Admission is a gold coin donation.
There will be lucky door prizes each day as well as a monster raffle with at least 60 prizes each day.
These will be drawn at noon both days.
Morning tea and a sausage sizzle will tempt hungry appetites.
The club caters for all ages and women are welcome too.
Normal operating hours are 7.30am-noon, Monday to Friday.
No experience is necessary.
The club has an extensive range of machinery and regular classes are held to teach new skills.
These range from making jewellery boxes to coffee tables to ukuleles and lots more.
Members create an incredible variety of wooden items of the highest standard.
The club is situated in the Steps Complex in George St.
