Whale breaches right in front of Coast kayaker

LOUISE Thomson was test-running her new kayak off Mooloolaba this morning when a playful whale breached right in front of her.
"That was in my brand new kayak that I just got today," she said.
"Jason 'The Paddle Guy' from Viking Kayaks took me out this morning to show me how do use it and then this happened."
Louise said the experience was "absolutely phenomenal" and she was ecstatic that she had her phone on her to capture the action.
"The whale and its baby came up to us on the kayak and the baby breached right in front of us," she said.
"Then the mum decided to too and they probably breached over 20 times around us."
