Photo of the Day: Pelican in golden light on Tallow Beach
WE'RE big fans of Maria Butler's work here at Photo of the Day and clearly the voters are too.
We had a great selection of images to choose from and while the voting was pretty tight for the runner-up's position, the vote was decisive when it came to today's Photo of the Day.
Maria's sunrise image of a pelican at Tallow Beach, Byron Bay, was the hands-down favourite among voters.
As to which image received Monday's berth, well, you'll just have to wait (or you could just have a look at the poll results if it's really burning you up that much).
Photo of the Day celebrates the beauty of the Northern Rivers region and the talent of its people.
