The Polding region is made up of Catholic Schools from the Armidale, Bathurst, Broken Bay, Lismore, Maitland/Newcastle and Wilcannia/Forbes Dioceses.

Cooper excelled with both the bat and the ball.

His outstanding performance at the trials ensured that he was successful in gaining selection into the Polding Cricket Team.

"Selection into this Polding team is a credit to Cooper's determination and dedication to the sport of Cricket," sports coordinator Brendan Tickle said.

"We congratulate Cooper on his outstanding achievement and wish him the best of luck at the NSW PSSA Boys Cricket Carnival in Sydney in November."
