Weekend showers predicted

MUSTER patrons can keep lapping up the good times at Amamoor Creek with more good weather on the way.

Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Ben Annells said he expected only a couple of brief showers today and tomorrow with mostly fine weather.

He said tops of 23 or 24 degrees were predicted, with lows of 9 or 10 overnight – a far cry from frosty mornings experienced in Gympie recently.

But do not pack up the poncho just yet.

The pleasant weather may be interrupted on Saturday, with showers likely to increase right through until Sunday morning.

The rain should decrease again by Sunday afternoon.

“It may be a showery weekend,” Mr Annells said.
