Renae's SCU Ducks are dux of today's Photo of the Day
VOTE FOR TOMORROW'S AND SATURDAY'S PHOTO OF THE DAY
WE had a really wonderful selection of images to choose from for today's Photo of the Day, but the voting came down to a battle between birds.
On the one hand we had a fantastic shot of a pair of lorikeets being photo-bombed by a third lorikeet from Kerri Irene O'Halloran, on the other we had the ducks of Southern Cross Uni (get it? Ducks/dux?) - a gorgeous family of fowl snapped waddling through the uni by Renae Kirby.
Renae's image took out the vote, with 35% of poll participants choosing it as their favourite while Kerri's received 16%.
Photo of the Day celebrates the beauty of the Northern Rivers and the talent of the people who live here.
