Beautiful bee eaters make a wonderful Photo of the Day
VOTE FOR TOMORROW'S PHOTO OF THE DAY
WE had a really spectacular line-up of images to choose between for today's Photo of the Day and it was Di Lymbury's gorgeous photo of two rainbow bee eaters that voters selected.
Di's image was one of seven in the running yesterday.
The voting was relatively tight, but all the images submitted were fantastic, ranging from a terrific action shot of Bangalow soccer star Jade Bianchetti in action, from Maralyn Hanigan, to a serene-looking image of a fishing trawler working at see and attended by a flock of seagulls.
Photo of the Day celebrates the beauty of the Northern Rivers and the talent of its people.
As well as appearing here it is published on page 2 of the newspaper and appears as the cover image on our Facebook page.
