Megan blooms with Photo of the Day submission
VOTE FOR TOMORROW'S PHOTO OF THE DAY
WE had a massive selection of images in the running for today's Photo of the Day with some really spectacular submissions, so Megan McGuiness' achievement in securing 52% of the vote with this lovely shot cannot be understated.
Megan has submitted a few images for Photo of the Day over the past week and they have all been outstanding.
While I'm not much chop at identifying any flower more exotic than a lawn daisy, I'm told by someone who knows a fair bit about such things that these are November lilies. Feel free to correct us if we've got it wrong.
Photo of the Day celebrates the beauty of the Northern Rivers and the talent of its people. As well as appearing here, it is published on Page 2 of the newspaper and used as the cover image on our Facebook page.
