Visit Daniel Morcombe's former home to raise money

CAMELLIA House, the former home of Daniel Morcombe, at 116 Woombye-Palmwoods Road, Palmwoods, will be open to the public on Sunday 2 July and Sunday 3 July, from 10am - 4pm. 

Proceeds from the open days  will go to the Morcombe Foundation. Entry is $8.

Camellia House is home to one of the largest collections of camellias in Queensland.

Wander through 700 camellias, set in five and a half acres of mature botanical gardens with an ornamental lake, 'ferry folly', a creek, a variety of wildlife and a beautiful assortment of mature plants, trees, shrubs, including more than 40 varieties of exotic fruit species to explore and enjoy. 

Refreshments are available in the Heritage Barn, including a Lions Sausage Sizzle. Browse through camellia and plant sales, astrology stall and quality bric-a-brac on sale or simply enjoy the collection of Australian memorabilia on view.

Classic cars, including Aston Martins will be on display on Sunday morning.
