SENIORS News editor Gail Forrer joined Noosa locals this morning who gathered at Acres Cafe to discuss the burning issues with their council candidates ahead of the 2016 local government elections.

Ten candidates were present to provide their position on a range of issues affecting the Noosa community. The majority of candidates were concerned about the lack of aged-care support facilities and accessible public transport for the elderly.

The Sunshine Coast Daily and Hot 91.1 have created this series of open forums for locals to have their say on the issues that matter most.
