Van Halen to headline Soundwave
CALIFORNIA rockers Van Halen will headline September’s Soundwave Revolutions festival, fronted by original lead singer David Lee Roth.
Roth rejoined the band in 2007 for an American amphitheatre tour, nearly 22 years after they parted ways.

The band is currently recording its first album with Roth in 27 years. Van Halen’s last studio album, Van Halen III, was released in 1998.
The 2011 Soundwave Revolutions line-up also features Alice Cooper, Bad Religion, Panic! At the Disco, Machine Head, Hole, Sum 41 and Dashboard Confessional.
Soundwave Revolution plays Brisbane on September 24 and then continues on to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
