Unpredictable weather set to continue on the Northern Rivers
DON'T you just love the unpredictable weather we're having on the Northern Rivers at the moment?
Sunny one minute, windy the next, raining a moment later.
It does make it a bit difficult to decide what to wear. Shorts and a t-shirt? Jeans? A raincoat? Or perhaps a jumper, scarf and beanie?
Well, we might have to get used to it.
According to Weatherzone's latest 28-day forecast for the Northern Rivers, released yesterday, we can expect a high chance of rain for the next three days, with a medium chance of rain on Saturday, and more rain on Sunday and Monday.
We might get a break from the wet stuff from Tuesday next week and - fingers crossed - the clear weather could extend into the Mother's Day weekend.
Perfect excuse to take mum out for a picnic.
But it won't last long, so make the most of it. There's a low chance of rain from May 9, increasing to a medium chance by May 12.
Cold front events with the potential to bring widespread rain are now expected from May 14. And again from May 19. And then May 27.
So yes, keep that umbrella handy.
