
Turtle talk focuses on local care program
THE third in a series of community talks on Corals, Coast and Catchment will be held tonight, October 11, from 6.15-7.30pm at Scuba World at The Wharf, Mooloolaba.
The presentation, hosted by Sunshine Coast research group Reef Check Australia, costs $2 to attend, payable on the night. The latest talk, Turtle Management on the Sunshine Coast, will feature Sunshine Coast Council acting conservation officer Lisa Kath for a review of TurtleCare nesting data and discussion of sea turtle trends.
