Truck crash driver was 'distracted': police
Emergency services were called to the roundabout at the intersection of McEvoy St and Bracker Rd shortly before 8am.
Firefighters cut the man free from the wreckage.
Luckily, he only needed treatment for minor injuries.
Warwick police officer Senior Constable Ian Fenton said driver error appeared to be the reason for the crash.
"He got distracted by a noise in the truck," Snr Const. Fenton said.
The retrieval task was made even more unpleasant by the spillage of a full trailer load of chicken manure, which the driver was carting.
Snr Const. Fenton said the man was driving from Millmerran to Murrays Bridge, south-east of Warwick.
The man was charged with driving without due care and attention.
His smelly cargo was ploughed into a neighbouring paddock.
