Triple academic achievement for Maryborough State High

YOUR STORY: MARYBOROUGH State High School has attained a rare triple treat being the only school in the Wide Bay Burnett Region to score 100% for vocational qualifications, university entry and QCE attainment, as revealed by the School's Year 12 data from last year.

The impressive results ensured that every Maryborough State High School student left the school, at the close of 2015, with a senior qualification or a pathway to further study.

Principal Simon Done said he was very proud of the Senior Pathways team, led by Dean of Senior Secondary Chelsea Donaldson and Senior Deputy Principal Leanne Muston.

"It means that all of our students have a pathway into their lives with a solid education from a quality school behind them," Mr Done said.

Preparations are on track to replicate the success in 2016 with all Year 12 students working towards certificate courses, preparing for the QCS test in Term 3, or attaining their QCE points for their Senior Certificate.
