A DIP into cold water can be invigorating but surely these tourists to the coldest place on Earth are taking things a step too far!
The brave/foolhardy/damn-right-crazy travellers were visiting the Russian village of Oymyakon when they slipped into their swimmers and into hypothermia, ahem, a local river.
Just how cold is the coldest place on Earth? Try minus-62C!
It gets so cold on Oymyakon that even the thermometers call it quits and stop working!
But that didn't stop the three tourists from risking a severe case of frostbite as they took an icy plunge into clear, but frigid water.
However, the trio were, smartly, 'straight in, straight out' swimmers and were quickly back in their robes.
