Time to Meditate!
Why? Because that is when we meditate!
It’s a daily practice in our learning spaces and one that has been in place at the school for a number of years. We are so good at it we even featured in a video made by the CSO. The children enjoy the time to be still and present with God. It is wonderful to experience this prayerful and reverent time with the children!
Jan Condon, Assistant Principal and Leader of Catechesis said, “This is one of many prayer types practised in the school. Meditation allows the students to be totally focused on Christ, while other distractions and the business of daily life are put aside. The students respect the time for silence and the opportunity to connect with Christ. Once completed, the students are settled and ready again for rigorous learning.”
