The Walking Dead S6E05: Now preview
*warning: spoilers ahead if you haven't finished season six, episode four*
PREVIEW: NOW we know Morgan's story it is time to find out how the group moves ahead.
The special 90-minute "Here's Not Here" chronicled how Morgan (Lennie James) evolved from a shell of a man who lost his family, to a "clearer" (which pretty much meant killing anything in his path) and ultimately to a man who vowed not to kill again.
The man responsible for that evolution was Eastman (John Carroll Lynch), who taught Morgan Akido and shared the story behind his life in the character's single-episode run.
Now we know Morgan will no longer kill, how does that fit in with the rest of the survivors?
Rick (Andrew Lincoln) has a "take no prisoners" approach, and is comfortable with removing "threats" before they have a chance to become a problem.
Carol (Melissa McBride) is similarly deadly, and the iconic sequence of her and Morgan walking past each other in the aftermath of the Wolves' attack on Alexandria could be a sign of things to come.
Now's synopsis centres on Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Aaron (Ross Marquand) and their search for fallen Glenn (Steven Yeun).
Glenn is arguably the series' most popular character, and his shocking fall in "Thank You" has had The Walking Dead's fan base searching for answers.
A few more things:
- We know Rick survives in the RV, but will we learn how?
- Will Maggie be successful in her search for Glenn?
- How will Denise's (Merritt Weaver) unsuccessful attempt to save a fellow Alexandrian's life affect the new character? She is prone to panic attacks but Eugene's intervention ("You don't want to be a coward") helped steel her resolve.
- When will the superherd reach Alexandria? They have been on their way for a while...
