Staggering sale for Block stars
THE Block's stars Kyal and Kara Demmrich have pocketed a staggering $1.59 million after selling their Palm Beach rebuild project yesterday.
The couple - who first showed their reno prowess on The Block: Sky High in 2013 - bought NSW Central Coast home earlier this year for $710,000 before undertaking the extensive rebuild.

The renovation duo - who are expecting their second child - took to Instagram to celebrate the sale with a snap in front of the "sold" sign.

The sale comes after a four week marketing campaign, with 1000 people inspecting the transformed home, once described by the couple as a "classic asbestos shack" before it's renovation.

It has been a drastic makeover for the four-bedroom, three-bathroom home which has been transformed from suburban fibro shack to chic coastal beach house.
With a Palm Beach influence, the home offers relaxed living with white walls, raked ceilings, skylights and timber accents.
The coastal influence continues outside - with the once-rundown backyard now featuring a timber deck, swimming pool and white retro brickwork. The entrance of the home has also been overhauled, with the drab yellow and brown facade now unrecognisable in cool, pale tones with added limestone brickwork.
The nine month project didn't come without its difficulties.
"There was an old sewer pipe running down the boundary side of the house and because we capitalised on every inch of the land, we had to replace the sewer main," Kyal told News Corp last month.
"This sort of stunted our start because we had to wait for council, but fortunately council were really good and I just called them every day."
Over the past three years, the Toowoon Bay couple have designed or completed 28 renovation projects.
