YOUR STORY: Thanks to kind strangers for their kindness

Today my family and I went to a park at Cotton Tree for a barbecue.

While we were getting lunch ready my mother went for a walk to the shops to buy some margarine. She took a fall while crossing the road.

There were a lot of people about that came to her assistance.

They were so helpful and kind to mum. One young man on a motorcycle stopped to help and held his jacket over mum to give shade.

Another young girl who seemed to be well trained in this sort of thing was very professional. she asked questions so she could give the paramedics as much information as she could. she also comforted mum wonderfully.

While I was at mum's side, another lady handed me mum's purse and glasses after she knew that I was family.

The paramedics were great too, not only to mum, but us all, making us all feel a bit better, assuring us that she would be okay.

The team at Nambour Hospital were wonderful as well, they were great.

To all the people that showed mum, my family, and myself such kindness, I thank you all!
