OUTAGE UPDATE: Telstra says event lasted less than 30 mins
UPDATE 2.30PM: A Telstra spokesperson has said the outages reported on The Morning Bulletin were part of a small outage in Queensland.
The spokesperson said it affected ADSL customers for "less than half an hour" and was not related to any other faults the network had experienced in the past.
Fraser Coast Chronicle reporter Matthew McInerney said the outage hit just as he was in the middle of the latest episode of Game of Thrones.
He said it lasted more than an hour.
The Morning Bulletin's readers also took to Facebook to share their frustrations about the outage.
"Thank you Telstra for leaving me stranded at a checkout for 15 minutes unable to pay for my items," Brendan Dodd wrote.
Lyn Laskus wrote: "Then when they have service back in one area another goes out. Have been trying to call clients all day and have been told system is congested. Call another area I haven't had contact with for some weeks and theirs just came back on. Not good enough."
EARLIER: For the fourth time in less than five months, Telstra's network has left paying customers without an internet connection.
On Monday morning, Queensland users of the company's ADSL network were left struggling to find a connection.
Since the start of 2016, the telecommunications giant has been plagued by technical difficulties which have affected millions.
The issue was "resolved" according to Telstra before 2pm.
But customers are furious that after three promises to improve, Telstra is still letting them down.
On Facebook, readers have said they checked their own equipment because they were sure Telstra would not have failed again.
"Thought it was our wireless, because I didn't think it would happen AGAIN with Telstra," she said.
Ellen Deplanque said she had to use a different network for her phone to view the internet.
"What is new just about sick of them but they still know how to rip you off," Colleen Laird said
Dan Martin said he was "over it" and "sick of 3rd world service and quality".
OH NO TELSTRA: National telco network down again
YES, it has happened once again.
The telecommunication network that is supposed to be Australia's most comprehensive is struggling again with major outages reported along the eastern seaboard, particularly throughout Queensland.
Network users in Sydney and Melbourne have also reported some problems.
It follows the telco announced a $50 million solution to fix its network, which has failed three other times since the start of the year.
The problem is apparently fixed, according to a Telstra spokesman, who said it was specifically affecting Queenslanders using ADSL.
Telstra's social media team on Twitter are rushing to cool down hot heads who are slamming the national telco.
The Queensland ADSL has been struggling since 11.19am today, judging by the telco's service status page.
Telstra TV and its online LifeStyle content are also affected.

That particular stuff-up followed an apology by the company's chief executive officer Kate Mackenzie, who had said she was "incredibly disappointed the outage occurred".
12PM: TELSTRA customers may have difficulty accessing internet or data services after a Queensland-wide interruption.
The interruption is listed on the Telstra website and is also affecting Telstra TV nationally and LifeStyle content on the Telstra Media page.
ADSL customers in Queensland may be affected by the service interruption.
Telstra customers in Port Curtis, Rockhampton City, Koongal, Kawana, Park Avenue, Rockyview, Mount Archer and Frenchville may also experience difficulties from 5pm this afternoon as scheduled maintenance gets underway.
That maintenance is expected to affect customers using home phone services and some data services until Friday, May 6.
