Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation is coming back to our screens
CHANNEL 9 has had a cracking 2017 thanks to popular new shows like Australian Ninja Warrior and True Story With Hamish and Andy.
Next year it will revive an old favourite, Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation.
Shaun Micallef returns to host the inter-generational quiz show, which aired on Channel 10 from 2009 to 2012 and helped to launch the TV careers of Charlie Pickering and Josh Thomas.
Shaun will be joined by three new team captains: Gen X will be lead by Robyn Butler, Gen Y by Andy Lee and Gen Z lead by Laurence Boxhall.
Other new shows coming to Nine include Underbelly Files: Chopper, crime thriller Bite Club and Buying Blind, a property show in which buyers entrust three experts with their life savings to find and buy their dream home.
An Australian edition of Love Island, one of the UK's most talked about reality dating shows, is also coming to 9GO!
In the series, hot young singles will assemble on a tropical island looking for love. The winning couple are handed a pot of money to start their new lives together, but there's a catch: one is given the chance to share the money or walk away with it all.
Drawing inspiration from the rise of dating apps, the series Date Night will feature singles who allow their friends and family to swipe through potential partners in a search for their perfect match.
Ratings juggernauts Australian Ninja Warrior, The Block, Married At First Sight, The Voice and Hamish and Andy have all been renewed.
In another win for Hamish and Andy, their production company Radio Karate has partnered with Warner Bros TV to take the series overseas. True Story with Hamish & Andy will be launched at the annual MIPCOM conference in Cannes next week.
Delta Goodrem, Kelly Rowland and Boy George will return to The Voice's big red chairs, with Seal's replacement yet to be announced.
Also returning to Nine are This Time Next Year, Doctor Doctor and Travel Guides.
