Computer club keeps members informed about scams

EVERY day individuals fall victims to scams either by unsolicited telephone calls or emails. Some of these callers or emails can be very persuasive and easily confuse those who may not be very computer literate.

By way of weekly and monthly bulletins and personal help the Sunshine Coast Computer Club keeps its members informed so that they can avoid these scams.

Meetings are held weekly at Caloundra on Saturdays and Buderim on Thursdays, and for the north coast monthly meetings at Yandina on the third Wednesday of each month (excluding Dec).

To find out more telephone the club information line 54921005, visit the club website http://www.sccc.org.au or e mail the club at sccc@internode.on.net.
