The project will include a creative experience for students that is inspired by both their own writing, thoughts and feelings as well as the work of Shaun Tan, this year's Book Week featured author.

The NORPA team accompanied by delegates from the Catholic Schools Office (CSO) met with Stage 3 teachers and then visited each classroom to get a feel for the school's teaching and learning programmes.

Tony Hunter, Principal,

"This is a wonderful initiative of the CSO to allow our school community to work alongside the very creative and remarkable talents of the people from the Northern Rivers Performing Arts group," principal Tony Hunter said.

"We are very much looking forward to the culmination of this project with a special performance during Book Week this year which will be held in August".
