Snow tipped during bitterly cold Darling Downs winter

WINTER may be months away, but already the forecasts are pointing to a solid fall of snow for the Southern Downs.

With last year's snow still fresh in the minds of residents, the latest forecast is sure to get tongues wagging.

Higgins Storm Chasing, who successfully predicted four snow events on the Southern Downs and Northern New South Wales, are forecasting three potential snow events.

 

 

Last year's snowfalls were the heaviest in the region in more than 30 years.
