Snake latches on in Coast retirement village
PARAMEDICS were called to a Coast retirement village after a 75-year-old was bitten by a snake.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said crews were called to Baywater Dr in Living Choice Twin Waters Retirement Village at 4.05pm Sunday.
The spokeswoman said officers reported back it appeared the man could have been bitten by a carpet python.
She said the man was in a stable condition when being treated by paramedics.
