Sleep in a deluxe swag on a pontoon off the coast of Cairns
IT'S being billed as the ultimate sleep-out experience - Sunlover Reef Cruises has launched a new and unique way to experience the Great Barrier Reef.
Sunlover by Starlight offers visitors the chance to spend a night at Moore Reef Pontoon, 26 nautical miles off the coast of Cairns.
Moore Reef, teaming with brilliantly colored corals and more than 10,000 fish and marine species, is the destination for day guests and for a lucky few (a maximum 18 people plus hosts) the chance to continue their experience, camping in deluxe swags on the stable, 45m x 12m pontoon.
The crew hosts serve up a three-course gourmet barbecue dinner and allow visitors enjoy the wonders of the night sky in the heart of the ocean and listen to the sounds of sea, birds and nocturnal creatures.
Overnight guests have exclusive access to Moore Reef from 3.30pm on the first day when the day visitors return to Cairns until 11am on the second day when the Sunlover vessel returns.
