Search for owner of precious memories found in op shop

A PLANE bound for Mombasa and a little boy delighting in a beach-side holiday at Elephant Bay in 1964; when Katelyn Le Roux saw these photographs she knew they must special to someone.

"I found them in a Sunny Coast op shop whilst looking through the bags section and found this inside a backpack," she said.

"As a photographer myself I realise the importance of such beautiful images from the years 1964-1968."

So she has embarked on a search for the owners of these precious memories, found inside an envelope marked "Aden 1964".

Each picture is marked on the back with details of when and where it was taken.

Mombasa is a city on the Kenyan coast, and there is an Elephant Bay in Aden, Yemen, where the pictures of the little boy could have been taken.
