Scuba Steves take out Pub Fest People's Choice Award
UPDATE: Scuba Steves have won the $1000 prize in the Pub Fest People's Choice Award.
The poll closed at noon on Friday after more than 2400 people voted for their favourite costume and the guys dressed as scuba divers finished with 28%.
They were followed by Octo-Posse on 18% and Wobble fish on 14%.
EARLIER: It looks like Scuba Steves have taken an unassailable lead in the Pub Fest People's Choice Award.
With less than two hours left before voting closes, the group of guys dressed as scuba divers have earned 28% of the 2400-plus online votes.
Their next-nearest rivals, the Octo-Posse gals dressed as octopuses, are on 18%.
The Wobble Fish duo are in third place with 14%.
Anyone who hasn't voted has until noon on Friday to make their choice in the poll on our website.
The winner of the Fraser Coast Regional Council competition will receive $1000.
