RSL Care birthday bash was one to remember

RSL Care Westhaven birthday bash was a fabulously fun celebration said residential manager Yvonne Crosby.
The centre turned 20 this year, having been officially opened on October 4, 1996.
The milestone was celebrated with a morning tea on October 7, with about 120 residents, staff and long-term staff and family attending the function.
"There was lots of food, fun and music," Mrs Crosby said.
"We also presented some long service awards on the day."
She said Gillian Quinn, Lyn Frandsen and Catherine Palmer all relieved 10 year awards, while Brenda Waldon received a 15 year award for continuous service.
The Independent Living section of the aged care home had it's own celebrations, she said.
