Members of Rochedale-Springwood National Seniors Branch decided to support the Logan East Neighbourhood Centre group by making a donation of funds raised during the November Hamper Raffle thereby assisting the Centre in the supply of Christmas Hampers to the less fortunate in Logan City.

President Charles Achilles commented that after a very successful year of operations enjoying well supported meetings and coach tours it is pleasing to be able to reward those who are less able to enjoy a Christmas treat.

Rochedale-Springwood National Seniors Branch will resume operations on Wednesday January 20th with a mystery guest speaker to entertain members and herald in the New Year.

This will be followed by an exciting coach trip on January 27th to Cooroy and the historic Apollonian Hotel at Boreen Point first licensed in 1868.
