Call Guinness! Long-lasting rainbow filmed above Taiwan

WE MAY never know what's at the end of the rainbow but we now have a clearer idea of how long it would take to get there.

Taiwanese researchers have recorded a rainbow that reportedly lasted nearly nine hours above Taipei late last month.

The researchers, working at the Department of Atmospheric Science at the Chinese Culture University, reported the rainbow lasted from 6:57am to 3:55pm.

That data would set a new world record with the current Guinness Book of Records entry lasting six hours in Yorkshire in 1994.
