Readers split over the future of Wide Bay Water
CHRONICLE readers are split over the future of Wide Bay Water.
In an online poll that had 331 votes as of 12pm on Friday, 164 readers want the council to continue its pursuit to turn WBW into a commercial business unit of the council, stripping it of its corporation status.
In comparison, 167 voters want WBW to remain a local government owned corporation.
The poll will close at noon on Sunday.
Results will be published in the Monday edition of the Chronicle.
