A CQ fisherman has captured footage of what he says appears to be a 4m crocodile on the Fitzroy River bank on Saturday afternoon.

Have you seen a crocodile there?

Philip Pye: There are plenty of crocs in the Fitzroy River. Go and have a look down near the Nerimbera Boat Ramp near the slipway.

Maria Finlay-Frenken: There has been Crocodiles in our river for the past 20 years that I am aware of...... I have also seen a shark and a dolphin around the bottom end of Archer Street a few years ago.

Wayne Craig: There used to be one about that size hanging around the mouth of Nankin Creek for many years. Maybe it went down to the Mary River on holidays after the floods and has come back.
