YOUR STORY: The Toowoomba Quilters Club, which boasts 155 members, celebrated 'Christmas in July' with a shared lunch and a viewing of the annual quilt challenge.

This year's theme, 'My Favourite Christmas Tree' was a wall hanging panel.

Club members who participated in the 2015 challenge quilt had been given an envelope in late 2014 containing the rules and two rectangular pieces of fabric that were to form part of the quilt.

The results were outstanding and certainly affirmed that Toowoomba Quilters are a very talented and creative group.

The idea of the challenge is to have fun and share individual talents with other club members and later with the general public at our annual Quilt Show held during the Carnival of Flowers.
