QLD Women’s Week’s Living Library visits Southport
WOMEN from diverse backgrounds and experiences will gather at the Southport Community Centre on March 10, to celebrate with The Migrant Centre, Queensland Women's Week.
Called Women Matter - Living Library, guests will be able to listen to women share their challenges, experiences and achievements.
They will also be able to collect information on a large range of women-focused services and programs including Skilling Queenslanders for Work free accredited training, Volunteer Services, Active & Healthy Program, BreastScreen QLD, Soroptimist International Gold Coast, bowel and cervical screening programs and domestic violence.
The celebration is on March 10 at Southport Community Centre, 6 Lawson Street, from 10am to 12pm.
Admission is free.
