Probus the perfect place for a cuppa and chat

THE Mixed Probus Club of Hervey Bay is on the look out for new members who are keen to enjoy friendship, a lively conversation and group outings to interesting events and locations.

The group meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 9am in the Masonic Hall in Watson Street, Pialba.

The next meeting will be on Thursday, September 22, at 9am for 9.15am start.

The meeting's guest speaker will be talking about the art of bonsai.

On your first visit, the Mixed Probus Club of Hervey Bay said visitors would receive a free morning tea and be greeted by the friendly members of the club.

"Come along and hear about the great trips and tours we have planned," Probus member Judith Drysdale said.

"A group has just returned from a wonderful week in Brisbane and they will be only too happy to tell you how to join the next fabulous tour."
