Pollen cloud blankets yard in Canada
Spring has sprung in Canada … and it doesn't look good for anyone suffering allergies!
Ontario has emerged from the grip of winter only to be snowed under by a blanket of pollen according to a new video that will either amaze you or have you running for the antihistamines.
In the footage, local man Ryan Johnston shakes a spruce tree which forces a giant, yellow cloud of pollen to burst into the air in Oakville.
In another angle, Mr Johnston places his arm into the cloud, allowing it to leave behind a thick layer of pollen.
The video will clearly be on the nose for any traveller suffering from hay fever with around 18 percent of Australians and New Zealanders at risk according to allergy.org.au.
And the numbers are worse for asthmatics with 80 percent fearing an onset of an attack sparked by the symptoms.
