Still Evans River shot voted in as today's Photo of the Day

VOTE FOR TOMORROW'S PHOTO OF THE DAY

PHOTO of the Day voters faced some hard choices yesterday with seven fantastic images to choose from in our first poll of the week.

Any one of the images submitted for consideration would have made a worthy Photo of the Day.

However, in the end it was this late afternoon shot of the Evans River, from Mellissa Halliday, that received the highest vote, with a solid 32% of poll respondents choosing it as their favourite.

The runner-up position went to Sally Smith, who shared a delightfully moody shot of a storm front rolling over Woodburn.

Sally's image received a respectable 20% of the overall vote.

Photo of the Day celebrates the beauty of the Northern Rivers and the talent of its people.

As well as appearing here, it is published on page 2 of the newspaper and appears as the cover image on our Facebook page.

To contribute to Photo of the Day, share an image to our Facebook page or vote in our weekday poll below.

It's time to consider tomorrow's Photo of the Day. We have nine images to choose from in this morning's poll and, as usual, they're all amazing.

Have a look at the poll below and pick your favourite.

Voting closes at noon.
