Park Lane Theatre Call Out for 2017 Lennox Head Program

PROGRAMMING for new Lennox Head performance and events venue commences Park Lane Theatre in Lennox Head is inviting artists, producers and promoters to join its inaugural entertainment program in 2017.

After a successful launch in March 2016, the Northern Rivers' newest live music and events venue is seeking high-quality music, theatre, dance, and performance art productions.

Community-focused events are especially encouraged to apply.

"It is imperative to us that our opening year represents our commitment to excellence, and really putting Lennox Head on the map as a cultural destination," said venue manager, Sara Hayes.

"We are developing a robust program that will impress discerning audiences, as well as seeking to promote and produce cultural activity within our local community".

Park Lane Theatre is Ballina Shire Council's largest and most flexible high quality events venue.

Situated within the Lennox Community Centre, the theatre has remarkable acoustics and is equipped with full in-house audio visual services, flexible seating layouts for up to 550 guests and a dual height 35m2 performance stage with complete lighting and draping.

A convenient back of stage loading area also allows hirers to supply their own additional event staging and equipment if required.

It is one of the best-equipped spaces between the Gold Coast and Coffs Harbour and an ideal location to visit for touring artists.

Interested parties are invited to email an Expression of Interest to communityspaces@ballina.nsw.gov.au and include preferred dates, a synopsis and sample of the proposed work.
