Paramedics treat six people at nearby Coast crashes

Paramedics are assessing three people at the scene of a two-car crash near The Big Pineapple.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said crews were called to Nambour Connection Rd at Woombye at 1.54pm Monday.

Maleny parents in isolation as hundreds tested

She said all three people had declined to be taken to hospital.

It came after a three vehicle crash at the intersection of Reids Rd and Parsons Knob Rd at West Woombye.

Authorities were alerted to the crash at 1.30pm.

The spokeswoman said one person was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital and paramedics were assessing a further two people at the scene.
