Nude beach support

GLEN Elmes: in your secret letter (obtained by the Right to Information Act) to Yvette D'Ath, you stated: "I give you the assurance that, with the exception of no more than a handful of local people, there is no groundswell of support or otherwise for the establishment of a clothing-optional beach in Noosa."

Really, Glen?

Please provide the evidence you have for this conclusion.

We also note that you again refuse to state whether you agree that local governments throughout Queensland should be given the power to allocate clothing-optional beaches within their shires.

A simple "yes" or "no" answer would suffice.

Also, in a recent Essential Poll, it found that 76% of Queenslanders thought that abortion should not be a criminal offence.

With Queensland Parliament looking to vote as early as this Wednesday on whether to legalise abortion in Queensland, Noosa residents will be watching your actions carefully to see whether you will vote in accordance with their wishes or whether you will again side with the fundamentalist religious right-wing element who control your party: the LNP.
